The gallery, located in Hyde Park's Kensington Gardens, is a must for art lovers. Recent exhibitions have included Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol, Man Ray, and Jeff Koons. Princess Diana was once the gallery's patron! Every year, the Serpentine invites big-name architects to erect temporary pavilions on the grounds. These pavilions, which host various film screenings and discussions, later become symbols of contemporary architecture. Among the architects invited since 2000 are Zaha Hadid, Peter Zumthor, Frank Gehry, and Oscar Niemeyer.
Admission is free.
