Ota Fine Arts is by far one of the most exciting spaces in Gillman Barracks art cluster, which comprises of more than 10 leading galleries promoting Asian contemporary art. The first branch was opened in Tokyo where Ota Fine Arts has an established reputation for championing Japanese contemporary art since its inception in 1994.

Since then the gallery expanded with a new branch in Singapore and attracted new artists from Korea, China and Iran. Ota Fine Arts represents many notable names, amongst which are Tomoko Kashiki an upcoming artist known for her paintings of dreamlike female figures, a prominent Iranian artists Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian who incorporates traditional motives into her contemporary art practice and one of the most celebrated Japanese artists Yayoi Kusama.

Ota Fine Arts hosts around 7 temporary exhibitions a year. Free entry.
