This cozy and hip restaurant near Club Street offers discerning foodies a mix of Mediterranean flavours, which results in a unique signature style cuisine, a melting pot of cultures in one place.  The interior is minimal with industrial twist: above the bar floats an impressive cage shelf displaying oversized tin cans alongside graceful crystal vases and decanters, the concrete walls in the basement are covered with graffiti and mirrors, clusters of futuristic lamps hang off the ceiling at different heights.

The ground floor hosts 14 people at the bar counter where you can peer into the open kitchen, while the dining room in the basement with a huge communal table can host up to 22 people. A delicacy one can get addicted to is the kombu butter that comes with homemade bread served complimentary ahead of your meal. Wait till your food arrives: a refined combination of ingredients beautifully arranged on small plates, prepared so simply but so impeccably.

Cuisine: signature-style/Mediterranean

We recommend: Hokkaido scallop carpaccio; sea urchin pudding; fennel salad; tuna belly ‘chutoro’ tartare; spanish tortilla with smoked eel; grass-fed ribeye steak; steamed dark chocolate pudding or crema catalana for dessert.

Atmosphere: hip/buzzy

Crowd: expats, local foodies, creative types, travellers.

Key info: the reservations are taken only for lunch; dinner is ‘walk-ins’ only.
