Labyrinth is a modern Singaporean restaurant (one Michelin star) located in the Esplanade, Singapore's iconic performing arts theatre. Traditional Singaporean food is completely re-imagined at Labyrinth. Some dishes look familiar yet taste unfamiliar, while for others the inverse is true; the only thing diners can be sure of is a meal full of surprise and re-discovery.

Chef LG Han unveils a contemporary dining experience that pays tribute to Singapore and his late grandmother, evoking a multitude of memories and emotions. A symbiosis of the farms – on soil and in water – and the kitchen, Labyrinth takes diners on an exploration through the pairing of flavours and profiles of local produce inspired by chef’s memories growing up in Singapore; challenging the myth and pre-conceived notions of Singapore.

The restaurant space is entirely in black and rather utilitarian, which just means you can turn your entire attention to what is being served.

Cuisine: Modern/Innovative Singaporean.

We recommend: The menus offered here only come as set menus, one for each service of the day. The lunch menu is $68, while the Chef’s Tasting Menu is $178.

Atmosphere: Classy.

Crowd: Businessmen, bankers, gourmets and travellers.

Key info: Winning wine list.
