This sunny, vegetarian cafe serves an incredible array of juices, smoothies and food that's anything but boring, even though it contains no animal products.

In the summer, you can spot the rows of bicycles parked outside The Butcher's Daughter from a distance. The interior decor is simple and straightforward; a bar counter for lone diners runs along the windows, while a communal table with bright-yellow chairs in the center of the room attracts more extroverted vegetarians. Everything looks so awesome that you'll be inspired to start a new life with almond milk, quinoa, salad leaves, and goji berries.

The bar counter is decorated with fruits and vegetables, and the walls with potted plants.

We recommend: roasted beet quinoa salad; the Butcher's Burger (vegetarian, of course). Try "Liquid Vitality" (with ginger, honey, and echinacea), one of the elixir shots on the drinks menu.

Cuisine: vegan/vegetarian

Atmosphere: relaxed/healthy

The crowd: photographers, interior designers, stylists, models

Key info: Everything is prepared using organic and natural ingredients. During the summer, local celebrities hang out at the tables on the street. Expect a wait for weekend brunch.
